Levante head into Tuesday’s clash with a clean bill of health, giving head coach Calero a full squad to choose from. Midfielder Jon Ander Olasagasti is pushing for a starting berth after impressing off the bench with over 30 minutes in Saturday’s win over Girona.
Etta Eyong and Romero will be Levante’s main attacking threats, with both players already netting three league goals apiece this season.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, remain without Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is sidelined for six to eight weeks following the hamstring injury he sustained in last week’s Champions League victory over Marseille. Fellow defenders Antonio Rudiger and Ferland Mendy are also unavailable.
There is, however, some good news for Los Blancos, with Dean Huijsen available for selection again after serving a one-match suspension for the red card he picked up against Real Sociedad.
Head coach Xabi Alonso could freshen up his starting XI for the midweek trip, with Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz pushing for starting opportunities. Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga, who both made their injury returns as late substitutes on Saturday, could be handed more minutes from the bench.
