Barcelona will once again be without Lamine Yamal, as the young Spain international continues to recover from a groin issue. Head coach Hansi Flick is taking a cautious approach to his star man’s fitness, with Marc-André ter Stegen, Alejandro Balde, and Gavi also remaining sidelined through injury.
Pau Cubarsí is available despite a recent knee scare against Newcastle, but the teenager is likely to be rested for this clash with Getafe. Fermin López and Robert Lewandowski could also drop to the bench, paving the way for Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres to feature from the start. Marcus Rashford is expected to retain his place in the XI after his impressive brace in midweek European action.
Getafe, meanwhile, arrive in strong shape. Juanmi faces a late fitness test due to a knee problem, but aside from that, the visitors have a fully fit squad. Adrian Liso, who has scored three goals already this season, is set to partner Borja Mayoral in attack. Midfield orchestrator Luis Milla – with four assists in as many games – will once again pull the strings in the center of the park, supported by Mario Martin in midfield.
